HEC had developed comprehensive criteria for the award of MPhil and PhD degrees in the country in 2005. These criteria were developed after extensive consultation with all stakeholders and ensured that advanced degrees awarded in Pakistan meet international standards.
The HEC PhD program offers PhD Students from other universities to spend time at HEC Paris as a visiting student through the Individual Study Program, the Individual Research Program or by joining one of our Blocked Seminars, 1 week intensive courses.This is a unique opportunity to study and network with HEC PhD Students and Faculty.
In a second step, doctoral students are required: To participate to the internal and external seminars, and to the conferences organised by the Centre Walras-Pareto. The participation to other seminars, such as those organised in HEC, may be required as well.

The requirement of an undergraduate degree may be waived under the following conditions: You can provide a certificate certifying that you have completed your secondary education. You must also have 5 years minimum of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
Language Requirements. Advanced proficiency in French or English. For example, you must have completed 3 years (90 credits) of university studies entirely in French or English or have passed an accredited language test (TFI: 850 or TOEFL: a score of at least 100).

Graduation Requirements The programme is offered in joint partnership between NUS Business School and HEC Paris, students will have the flexibility to begin the programme at HEC Paris or NUS. A minimum CAP of 3.0 is needed to meet the requirement to be awarded an NUS degree.
